Eagle House School, Sutton
New build classrooms, power, lighting, data, access control, fire alarm.
This project consisted of two new classrooms. We installed socket outlets, access control system (Paxton), phone points, data points, fire alarm and lighting.
We used energy effecient LED lighting throughout.
The benefits of using an access control system with proximity fobs, is that access is faster, and if a fob is lost it can be deleted out of the system, keeping it secure.
Whereas with a conventional lock and key system you would need to replace the lock if you lost a key, to keep access secure.
We also connected the electronically locked doors to the fire alarm, so in case of an emergency staff and students are able to evacuate the building without the need to manually unlock each door.
Due to the nature of the installation, we installed surge protection to protect the electrical circuits and connected electrical appliances.
This project was completed on time and within budget.
